(The perfect teacher)
A self-taught teacher, without diplomas, it was his task to help the heir to the throne stop stammering.  Unorthodox to say the least, especially for that era, he tailor-makes his lessons to suit the situation. His student runs the gamut of emotions: despair, frustration, anger, till finally finding his voice. I love this film, a feast for the eyes. The casting is perfect in this story of the passionate relationship between student and teacher that winds up a friendship lasting the rest of their lives. A story all the better for being the true story of King George VI of England.
Hey, don't forget to let me know you were here, leave a comment. I'm waiting to hear from you...
