Chanteur, comédien, Bremner Duthie, est de retour à Paris. Des amis, anciens et nouveaux, s'est rencontré chez lui le jour de l'an pour prendre un verre ou deux. Dehors le temps n'était pas bon mais l'intérieur était bien chauffé! On a mangé poulet au four avec pommes de terre, tous sorts du gâteau et forcement une Galette des Rois...On attendait la fève surprise. L'invité chanceuse qui l'a trouvé gagnait une visite au Spa, donné par la boulangerie. Je l'ai manqué ce prix par peu: trois morceaux. Jetez un oeil sur le blog de Bremner.
Dans l'après-midi Raphaël et moi avons déjeuné avec des amis bloggers, Leesa, et Animesh, et autres amis qu'on ne s'est pas vue depuis le jour de Thanksgiving. J'aurai du écrire de cette journée là mais ça tombé en plein saison de travaille et j'avais beaucoup sur mon assiette.
Bremner Duthie, singer, actor, is back in town. Friends, old and new, gathered at his place in Paris for a NewYear's day drink and buffet treat. Although the weather outside was frightful, inside it was so delightful! I ate baked chicken with potatoes, cake and pastry and then...would any New Year's gathering be the same without a Galette des Rois...this one had a special treat inside. The lucky guest won a Spa visit offered by the bakery. Ouch, missed it by three pieces. Check out Bremner for jazz news.
Earlier in the day we, me and Raphael, met with friend & blogger, Leesa, and Animesh, plus several others we hadn't seen in months. The only time most of the group gets together is when Leesa organizes the event. The last one was Thanksgiving which I should have written about but didn't. Oh well, my excuse is that it was right in the middle of my busy season and I had a lot going on.
